Question:
In a two-player game, I played you lose! on my opponent. Do I win?
Answer:
Nope. You have to have an "i win" card in front of you to get a win. You'll have to play again to have closure with this one.
If you are playing the Extended Play version, then your opponent loses a token but you don't get any.
Question:
Do you have to draw a card at the beginning of your turn?
Answer:
Yes, you must do this before playing any cards. You must draw a card even if all you want to do is pass. If you draw the last card you're fine. If all the cards are gone, you can't play i'm gonna draw a card. because there isn't a valid target. If your turn starts and there are no cards, then you have to play an "i win" card if you have it or pass to the next player.
Question:
Can I play me too! on my own cards?
Answer:
Yes. You have to wait to play me too! until someone else responds and you get to respond to them. If you have the me too!!! card, which has the plus icon on it, then you can play it immediately after you play the card that you want to copy.
Question:
Do Response Rounds nest inside each other?
Answer:
No. when someone responds by playing a card, that is the start of the newest response round. The "old" one is gone and forgotten.
Question:
Can you only play cards with the lightning bolt icon as responses?
Answer:
No, you can play them on your turn as normal, as long as they can be normally played. The I win!!! card, for example.
Question:
Can you lose! be played as a response card?
Answer:
No. It doesn't have the lightning bolt icon on it so the only way to play it in a Response Round would be with the and... card.
Question:
wait! it's my turn. has lightning strike symbol, which says all face-up
cards go into effect as normal. But the explanation for this particular card
says players take back their cards. Which is right?
Answer:
Always go with what the card description says. The icons are there to help, not to change the rules.
